..if it has been proven that those children have been shown to suffer many social disorders, psycological issues, and even discrimination later in life moreso than those with "socially acceptable" names?

I can understand the desire to give a child their own sense of identity, to make them stand out from the rest, I really do. But honestly, it should be the childs decision to stand out, not something they inherit at birth. A name can be so essential on a subconscience level in a childs growth.

Am I making any sense? I see so many people on here that ask for opinions on certain names, and I sometimes shake my head knowing that the child will most likely not only have a rough childhood, but adulthood as well. I know this isn't always the case; But are you, as caring and loving parent, willing to take that chance? What are your opinions?

are the only mammalian species with adornments to attract males?

Seriously. In every other species, the MALE is the one with decorations - peafowl, wood ducks, bower birds, lions, you name it - but human females have non-functional adornments, namely breasts, attractively cantilevered butt flab, etc.

Yeah, I know, all mammals have breasts, but they don't amount to anything in any non-human species unless they are filled with milk. Human women are the only ones that have developed them for show. Same with butts. It's been proven (insofar as it's possible to prove these things, that the SINGLE greatest turn-on for a male is a large differential between the size of a woman's waist and the size of her hips. Yeah, I know they have to have wider pelvises for the childbearing duties, but the cheerleader bubble butt owes more to form following function in terms of attracting a mate than it does to facilitating squirting kids into the world.

Just wondered what you folks think.

After 25 years of marriage, things haven't gotten better. I worked, took care of the kids, and never asked for much except that we share responsibilities. My husband does help at times but he doesn't realize how much it takes to keep a household and kids. He wakes up and does what he wants, goes where he wants, and never thinks about taking some of the responsibility off my hands. We disagree about how to raise out kids which caused so much bitterness between us that I can't stand to be around him. I have become very close to my children and their friends that he is jealous of the time I spend with them. I work just as much or more than him and do just about everything else around here. He is full of negative comments towards me. I have always asked him to spend time with my children, and their friends but he says they are girls and it would be different if they were boys. Well I recently started going out with friends, not at all looking for anything else and he hates it. What 2 do?

Why are they seen as a "superior"race when it comes to other minorities? I don't think any one race is superior to others, but from what i notice, people seem to have alot of resentment against them, especially blacks,or other minorities.
