Why are they seen as a "superior"race when it comes to other minorities? I don't think any one race is superior to others,but from what i notice,people seem to have alot of resentment against them,especially blacks,or other minorities.

Interesting question. When I think Asian in general terms I think hard-working, educated people. When I think black and Mexican in general terms I think uneducated, poor & lazy (sorry about that). So, to me, Asians are superior to other minorities as a group.

I don't know many Asians but I do know many blacks & Mexicans. What I think of a person individually may be far different from what I think of the group as a whole..... The minorities I worked with were raised by parents who believed in the importance of education. I don't think everyone has to have a college degree but for those who want to break the cycle of poverty its the only way out.

Who told you this? We get a lot of resentment from everybody as well. We have never been seen as a superior race and never claimed as such. If you mean why more Asian break the cycle of poverty than compared to Blacks or Eastern Europeans. I guess it's down to parenting, because Asians (incl. Chinese) get drilled into their heads that they will be an accountant, doctor, engineer or lawyer.

Those parents that don't tend to remain in poverty and with low cultural capital.
