The USA is not a Christian Nation. In this country we have freedom of religion and we have a multitude of religions.
Jewish, Buddha, Hindi, Christian, and a multitude of Christian beliefs from Catholic to protestant has over 3000 domination's.
When you start saying this is the religion that everyone in the USA believes you start taking away freedom of religion.
Then we have a government controlled religion.

I suppose that's a tad better than thinking it is a Christian nation, but only a tad. First we'd have to decide which god we're talking about.

My Hindu friends might have a different candidate than you, and my Buddhist friends would have a hard time trying to be polite while cracking up about such foolishness. I'm not even sure all Christian and Jewish sects will go along with a single definition either.

Then there's those poor atheists folks who would be puzzled by your use of the term "client state." Is the U.S. supposed to consult with the (whatever) before making policy? The term implies subordination. How would the nation be subordinate? If you mean that the U.S. is already subordinate, but doesn't know it, then there's no problem. That's just the same old religious "message" we've been hearing since time immemorial.

Actually, the US Supreme Court decided over a century ago that America was indeed a Christian Nation. But yes, we are also a part of God's Three Part Staff with which He shall chastize the Nations. The other two parts? England and Israel.

I like the way that sounds. A client nation to God... That sound very empowering. I love the idea of being a client of God.

Peace!

Truly I tell you The United States is one of the Lord's Nations. So yes, the United States is made up of a majority of Christians. That was why we left Europe to practice our own forms of Christian faith. And by the way... God Loves You he never would hate anyone because he is the one who sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all human beings.

I never heard that before but I don't like it. When you are a client, then someone is working for you. God doesn't work for us, we work for Him. Maybe we should be a servant nation to God?
