Easy. Disconnect the positive cable from the battery. Go down under and take off the wires to the starter. Be sure to remember where they all go. Remove 2 bolts. Starter drops out. Bolt new one in, replace wires, put positive cable back on battery. Turn key and start vehicle, put your seat belt on, take a ride.

Very easy. Be sure to disconnect the battery first. Its a pretty heavy starter too, so putting the new one back in is a bit of a pain, because you have to hold it with one hand while you start the first bolt.

It's not as easy as you might think. A 4x4 adds a degree of difficulty because you have more things in the way down by the starter. It might not be difficult for for an experienced mechanic, but it might be tough to do if you don't have much experience.

examine the front tires and see in the event that they are "cupping" or ridging. this could reason the topics you're experiencing. The cupping is via front end alignment being out. Had the comparable situation on my sixty 9 Chevelle. A front end alignment and a couple of latest front tires solved the project.

I normally fix the simple thingson my truck, but I recommend you take your truck to a shop. Starters can be a tricky thing, it's not as smiple as unbolting the old one, and bolting on the new one.
