We have laws and we must fallow them but do we really think it is necessary to be so mean to people and treat them like animals? aren't we all humans with the same feelings? we should'nt be so mean and expect to have a good life in return! we all have oppinions on everything and anything. we don't have the right to be cruel when talking about immigrants or anyone for that matter!

I seem to remember Marvin Gaye singing it and Howard Cosell raving about what a great singer Mr. Gaye was in his pre-fight commentary.

I’m at my wits in. My cousin has 3 kids and his going through a messy divorce. Her soon to be ex-husband cheated on here and is now with the women he cheated with. Despite that, he’s a cool guy and is a wonderful father. For the past 3 months they have been apart, she’s constantly bad-mouthed him in front of the kids and won’t let him see the kids. They miss him a lot. The reason why she says she won’t let him see the kids is because of his new girlfriend. I keep trying to tell her “That is still his kids and he is still their father. He has a right to see them”. All she wants him to do is pay for them and not see them. I keep trying to tell her that what she’s doing is not right. They only know that he’s their daddy and they the love him. They should not be subjected to this kind of thing. He loves his kids a lot and will do anything for them and she knows this. How can I get through to her?

Tax Moms has been asked to give 27 students $1000 each when they graduate from high school, if they stay alcohol, tobacco, and drug free all during high school.

Will this stop substance use in high school?

Details of the proposal are on my Yahoo 360 Tax Mom Blog.

I have a Potterton (Powermax) 155x and after being turned off for the summer (about 3 months) it refuses to do anything. When I turn it on the fan starts then a few seconds later the red light comes on indicating a fault. Any ideas on how to proceed?

my husband thinks that getting kicked in the balls by a girl is an experience most boys go though, and its just a learning experience. i don't know if i agree, but think our son is a bit too young psycologically to handle that sort of thing anyway. so my question is, at what age/ grade do you think its fair game for a boy to get kicked in the balls for harassing behavior?

also, at what age/ grade do you think the average boy gets kicked in the balls by a girl for the first time?

There's no excuses, they're getting proper crowds but they are still making frightening noises about being committed to the farm system. All well and good, but Expos' fans heard this time and again and seen great players traded for 'prospects'. This occured again when Hernandez went to Arizona for two young pitchers, one of whom may be a starter this year in a rotation that currently consists of:

Patterson (Good but major injury worry)
Rauch (Decent in bullpen, untried at this level as a starter)
Perez (Good in 2 out of 3 starts, but was hammered against Mets)
O'Connor (Decent start but doesn't have the stuff to worry MLB right-handers, as the 3-8 record proved)
Cilimo (Anyone's guess, meant to be Diamondbacks best pitching prospect)

Some of the $$$ saved by passing on Soriano and Guillen should indeed be put into the A-AAA teams but the team needs a Marquis, Chacon, Lilly or even a Redman NOW and can afford it.

Any comments?

I think it sounds odd but my spouse wants to call the child that, personally I would choose Slponia. Do you prefer Mannatoot or Splonia?

Today is my birthday and I realized that my personal new year (my goals, hopes, aspirations) is always renewed and that I do most of the assesing of my past year on my birthday, as opposed to the traditional calender January 1 new year. For people not born in January do you measure your personal life in the year between birthdays or in the year between Januarys?

My observation is that regardless of sexual orientation both genders operate and oscillate to and fro between a "Masculine Mode" and a "Feminine Mode" in physiological and psychological functions. For instance, the masculine mode is the modus operandi of putting forth, building, construction, the doing, the ejecting into the world and impregnation; while the feminine mode is the modus operandi of the intuiting, the dissecting, the organizing, the contemplative of things, the ingesting, the absorbing, the taking in, the compartmentalizing and the inspiring. Thus, an architect must shift into the feminine mode to design a building, evaluating and organizing the spatial relations, analyzing the dimensions and appropriate materials. When he is finished, he then hands the blueprints over to the contractor, and she must shift into the masculine mode to materialize the final tangible structure, the doing, the poring of the foundational slab and the building. What are you thoughts on this?
