How do you adjust the valves and rockers in a '95 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5 litre?

First of all, I'm not a mechanic. Know just enough to be dangerous and don't mind admitting it. #4 cylinder in my daughters car was dead (no difference in rpm's when you remove plug wire). Decided I was going to take off the valve cover and check the valves and rockers. #4 seemed to have alot of play in the rockers. When I went to get the tools, a friend who was helping bumped the ignition and changed the cylinder position. I didn't look and loosened the rockers to adjust. Anyway, car would not start again. Adjusted back to where I thought they had been originally and got it to start, but dies or almost dies when you put it in gear. What is the spacing on the rockers when they are open? Any ideas why cylinder would be dead? New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Even tried turning distributor to advance/retard. Still nothing. Just want to get it to where it's driveable again without dying if you stop. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i have this HUGE girl problem?

we're both in high school but im a year older and this girl and i went out for a couple months. i can honestly say that she is like my first love well she broke up with me about a month ago. her friends basically told her all of these lies about me. well shes an emo-type girl and i want to go back out with her but she doesnt really want to because were soooo different and shes more the ''always with her friends'' person. we live in the same neighborhood so we always see eachother all the time. some days shes like really distant to where she doesnt even talk to me but when we play around with eachother i can see a glint in her eyes that shows she still likes me alot. how can i win her back cause i still really really like her

Angry kitty?

It has been over a week and my cat is still mad at me. He plays with the other cats and cuddles with my husband, but he won't even look at me. I honestly don't remember doing anything that bad to him. I tried treats, petting him, everything. The only thing I can think of is one of my other cats has started wanting to cuddle with me. I can't shun him so the other won't be mad, but I miss my baby. Any suggestions?

Why was this story not national news?

On Halloween night in Long Beach, California, three white girls went to a haunted house in a predominantly black area of town. On their way to the haunted house, a group of black males began to taunt them with sexist language and kept saying "are you down with it?" while grabbing their crotches. The white girls didn't know what the blacks meant by this and were a little frightened by their rude and sexist behavior, so they ignored them and went into the haunted house.

After leaving the haunted house, they began to make their way back to their car. They were then attacked by between 20 to 30 blacks, both male and female. According to the victims and all the witnesses, the blacks were shouting "we hate white people" and "f*ck whitey" while they brutally beat the three white girls. One of the girls was knocked unconscious during the assalt, but the attackers continued to punch and kick her motionless body, an they also repeatedly hit her over the head with a skateboard.

How to gain more confidence?

I am very outgoing and outspoken but when it comes to the way I look i think i have a problem. People have told me I was pretty so many times it can't remember (including guys). I don't believe them but how do i gain confidence in myself, so im not shy to ask guys out or things?
