It has been over a week and my cat is still mad at me. He plays with the other cats and cuddles with my husband, but he won't even look at me. I honestly don't remember doing anything that bad to him. I tried treats, petting him, everything. The only thing I can think of is one of my other cats has started wanting to cuddle with me. I can't shun him so the other won't be mad, but I miss my baby. Any suggestions?

Wow what strange behaviour!
I have 2 cats also and my eldest cat HATED me when I got a new kitten....
In the end I figured if they are both around I have to make sure I give my eldest more of the attention or at least attention first before I even look at my yountest.
It works ok for me as my oldest is not around as much (likes to explore the neighbourhood) and my youngest is a bit of a 'mummas boy' so i get time alone with each without the other around...Good luck with the kitty!

He is probably jealous. I have had this happen with one of my cats because the other seemed to be getting more attention as he desired it. All I did was try what you did, and to no prevail. I just from their made sure if I did something with one cat and my other was around I would show him the same attention or bring him to join. He eventually got over it and went back to normal after a couple of weeks.
Another thing is cats often behave negatively if you make any large changes that they associate with you personally, IE- moving, taking to vet, and even in some instances a drastic hair style change.

The best way is to tell him you love him just as much as your ther cats. I have this probam a lot! I have 3 cats. They get mad at me a whole lot. If the cat like the time of just you and him then try giving him that. Well leting him have his space until he gets over being mad. After that he should be himself again. If he shuns you well trying to tell him this. Then just let him get over it at his own paste. You may have done something you would not think have made him mad. Like forgeting to say goodnight to him or something that you do all the time. He may take it as you forgeting about him. Or you not liking him as much as the other cats.

I had this same problem with one of mine. Princes wouldn't even look at me. When I'd pick her up she'd turn her head so she couldn't see me. I never did anything bad to her. What I did was I played with her a lot with pieces of string and ribbon and she loves it when I play with her with a laser pointer pen...she has a blast. I stopped and petted her every time I walked by her but not holding her in place...leaving her the freedom to walk away if she wants. You can't force it. And now she'll actually sleep next to me when she wouldn't before. It takes lot of gentle patience.

My cat got mad at me when I had to give me a course for antibiotics. Don't force yourself on him, just pet him, talk to him sweetly and give him lots of health treats. He'll come around!

Yes, your kitty is probably jealous. Some cats are like that. He'll about have to come back around on his own.
