On Halloween night in Long Beach, California, three white girls went to a haunted house in a predominantly black area of town. On their way to the haunted house, a group of black males began to taunt them with sexist language and kept saying "are you down with it?" while grabbing their crotches. The white girls didn't know what the blacks meant by this and were a little frightened by their rude and sexist behavior, so they ignored them and went into the haunted house.

After leaving the haunted house, they began to make their way back to their car. They were then attacked by between 20 to 30 blacks, both male and female. According to the victims and all the witnesses, the blacks were shouting "we hate white people" and "f*ck whitey" while they brutally beat the three white girls. One of the girls was knocked unconscious during the assalt, but the attackers continued to punch and kick her motionless body, an they also repeatedly hit her over the head with a skateboard.

One of the victims recieved 12 fractured bones in her face and likely will be permanently blind in one eye.

This event has not been reported on in the national media. It was only covered by the local news media. The LA Times didn't even report on the story.

So, I have two questions.

1. Why was this story not reported in the national media?

2. If 20 to 30 whites had attacked three black girls in the same brutal way while shouting "we hate blacks" and "f*ck *******", do you think the national news media would have covered it?

Racism only works one way. Just look at the record of Jessie Jackson, Louis Farrikan, and Maxine Waters. They get away with it, so why can't any other black person?
They think of it as a tit-for-tat reprisal for what 'our' great grandparents did to THEIR grandparents. So that makes it okay, at least in the eyes of the Liberal Media.

Various reasons:
1. It might not be true
2. There is a double standard these days. The media might have orders to not report that which might inflame a community or the country for that matter
3. Remember that what you and I think is newsworthy is not necessarily so to the media...Examples:
A. The Rev. Sun Mung Moon and the Moonies were behind the winning of the white house by George Bush. That whole Sinclair Brodcasting thing bashing Kerry the night before the election was written by a famous Moonie.
4 . 20 Years ago I reported to the New York Times that when I had been in Oaxaca Mexico, that there were thousands of Country Folk demonstrating on the Plaza there that there husbands and wives and friends were missing...taken in the night by death squads... They told me..."Not Interested"...last month...it was finally in news..and still.... not even all of it.
5.The general public is only interested in Fluff..you know ..Tom Cruise and what's her name...Brad Pitt and Jolie...all that crap..They love gossip and trash...Also much isn't out there becuse the average American has virtually no attention span and a brain capacity a little better than an imbecile or a moron...but not much more...Think about these things for a while...on the Moonie stuff , read below...my source..

Why does Madeleine McCann nonetheless make the headlines? that may not even information and it did not even ensue in this united states. certainty of the situation is which you would be able to not blame Londoners, politicians, or the final media for reporting in this excessively. Who comes to a decision no count if a taking photos in Liverpool or a rape in London is greater newsworthy? this is variety of of writing decision, as a result you could in basic terms blame the guy who made that decision in each and each individual e-e book. And your self for examining approximately it. there is so lots extra records available while you at the instant are not attracted to examining on the subject of the London Mayoral elections. This severe-technologies age has made human beings too lazy to look previous what falls of their laps.

The same reason other assaults/killings of many blacks haven't been on national news????

Two reasons they were not celebrities and it was a predominately black neighborhood. So it wasn't really news worthy.

Are you sure this story is true? If it is, then it should have made national news. I don't know who decides what goes on national news.
