If, several years ago, you pictured yourself in a certain place or situation, by now, did you get there?

actually I am so far ahead of where I had myself pictured to be for the rest of my life. I am SO grateful to God because it is only by His grace that this has happened.

25 years ago, I was playing music in a rock band, and we were good and getting better with every show. Then the real world began to creep into our lives and so much for the band. After the band, I jumped around from low paying job to lower paying jobs.
Eight years ago I found myself in a high paying job that was crushing my soul very slowly. I figured quit or do something with the money I was making. I therefore, invested in my future and went to Heating and Cooling school.
I have been a RHVAC technician for seven years. I have been with my current employer for six years and ten months. Since I've been working here, I've moved out of Detroit to a peace full small town, and I'm very happy.
I am, in fact, far ahead of where I thought I'd be by now thanks to God, but there are still times when I've had a long hard day at work and go home, pick up my guitar, and play for hours.

Physically, yes. Psychologically and mentally, no. I had been under the childish delusion that I would be a lot happier here and gaining a whole wealth of knowledge.
Instead I often find myself in the most depressed phases of my entire life (and I had some pretty angsty and emo moments in jr. high) and I'm stuck with incompetent teachers and classes I've already taken in some form or another. So much for "higher education."

No.. I went backwards when I got laied off 2 years ago from the best job I ever had.

Not really, in the past year my life has gone crazy, some good some not. I got here by some bad decisions.

no, but its for the better though. i am happier than i think i would have been ifi went on the path i choose five years ago. i now have two beutiful children
