yes because they would only care about their sports and not give two craps about their school work and they would just be dumb idiots that know how to play sports!

YES!! Sports should be a privilege and if you can't pass your class you have no business on the field. Education is the most important thing for our kids future. If we can't give them that what will they have latter in life. High school sports last only so long and only a select few make it to the big time as they put it. I don't care how popular our kids are because they are good at sports I want to see them with a future

you are at school to learn. Playing sports is a privilege, so yes...you must be a passing student to play sports.

well being a student athlete i think it depends on which class i think we should have to pass math and english because they are the most important i couldn't play in our last game of the season because i wasn't passing computer aided design and drafting (CADD) which is an elective at my school which i didn't want and i don't think that is fair

No, I don't. Athletes have their own contribution to make to the college community and academics aren't for everyone. I say, "Let them play!" and forget the rest.

Sports are EXTRA-CURRICULAR activities. School is the main activity.

Yes. It gives them reason to do well in school, which may be needed for some of them. For others who do well anyway, it shouldn't bother them.
