I know I get more done in a day than most of my coworkers. I get up atleast two hours before I have to at work (which is 5am). I straighten up around the house, start/finish laundry, and do the dishes that are in the sink. So, when I get off work in the afternoon, I can relax. But the whole time at work, I have to listen to my coworkers' list of stuff they have to do when they get off. Sucks to be them :-)

I read a work by a very wise person (can't remember the author now...)... one should work in the times they feel most comfortable.

Each of us has an internal clock, and works best within the hours that internal clock prefers.

So, if by nature one is an early riser, then one should work within that time frame. If one rises in mid morning - work within that time frame. And so on...

And there are those who easily float between wake times...

Well it depends on when you go to sleep. Experts say adults can get away with only 6hrs of sleep and feel fine. It use to be flat out 8hrs anymore than that, then your body will like it never slept a wink!! hope that helps.

Depends on what time I go to bed the night before.

5:00 am, as long as you've slept enough. If not, after a few weeks you'll start feeling awful.
