My fiance and I are getting married in 18 days, and we are trying to have a baby. When I reach around 4-5 months, we were planning on buying lots of supplies to stock up, like diapers, blankets, nuetral clothes (green, yellow and white--we want the baby's sex to be a surprise). A lot of people have told us that while getting blankets, clothes, pacifers, bottles, etc is ok, they have told us NOT to buy diapers ahead of time, while some people have told us "You can NEVER have too many diapers".
I've never had a baby of my own before (just my fiance's son, and we didn't have him full-time), and not all the people that have told me to buy or not to buy diapers have children, and I don't know who to listen to!
So I decided to get on here and ask, since there is such a diverse realm of people that answer questions.
So my question to moms is: Did you stock up on diapers before your baby was born? Is 4-5 months before the baby is born too early to buy diapers?
