DNA don't lie. I do not know what exact CHROMOSOMES THEY look for. I do know the % needs to be something like over 94% to be the match. if they gave no numbers i'ld trust there was not even a high chance of some matching genes. I'ld say that man is not your father or even a brother or relative of your father.

you should ask the lab directly about this. This should have given you more info. There are different methods i believe for paternity testing. Maybe you should try another lab if they dont answer your question because honestly what you are describing seems kinda of shady. Did you check credentials. Any way i had a paternity test done a few months ago. I did it through www.labcorp.com

The DNA test is correct unless the sample was contaminated. They look for genetic markers in the child's DNA and compare it to the father's DNA. If it doesn't match it doesn't match.

I guess you can have the test done again if you are positive that he is the father, to rule out contamination of the sample. Who else did you have sex with around the time your baby was conceived?

That's how the DNA testing is done. All you get is a yes or a no. Answer is that NO the one who had his dna tested is NOT the father of the baby.
