I posted a question about not being able to take my dog to vet and pay for its medicine because i was on a tight budget. For me, my pet is a family member. Just because I am going through a time where I can't afford both does not mean I should give up my dog to someone who can care for it. People have children that they sometimes need assistance for and noone says they should give them up to they state, they are given assistance. That is what was asked, does anyone know what I can do to help my pet. If I did not care for my dog, I would let her get over her infection on her own. So why attack someone that is trying to help her animal?

Every thanksgiving, I like to make a list of things I'm thankful for. I've done this for the last two years, and I really enjoy it. It makes me think of just how grateful I am, and of how much I really am blessed, though sometimes I don't even realize it.

THINGS I AM THANKFUL FOR--Thanksgiving 2006

1. God

-His neverending love
-His amazing grace
-His limitless mercy
-His continual forgiveness

2. Jesus

-The salvation He brought me through His death and resurrection.
-The fact that He died on the cross for me, and that even if I were the only one on earth, He still would have done it.
-His blood covers me when I go to the Father for forgiveness for my sins.
-He too loves me unconditionally.

3. The Holy Spirit

-Before I believed, I was blind to sin. When I became a believer, He opened my eyes and let me finally see.
-He is God's strength in me; He gives me strength through the Father to overcome life's trials.

4. My family, who even though they sometimes don't see it, I love unconditionally and I always will.

5. My boyfriend, the first man to ever truly love me, and whom I love with all my heart.

6. My friends, without whom my life would be empty and humorless.

7. The opportunity that lies before me, the chance to make a new and better life for myself, to become the woman God made me to be.

8. The gift of education. I may not have taken it seriously at the time, but I know without it, I couldn't have made it as far as I have.

9. Having a roof over my head, clothes to wear and food to eat. Many many others around the world don't have half the things I take for granted each day.

10. The talent for writing God has blessed me with. I'm going to start picking up my pen more often; I want to write to glorify Him.

11. For life itself. It's not an easy road, but at least there is a road. For some, the end comes too soon.


I wanted to share this with you, in hopes that it will remind you to celebrate this holiday as it was meant to be celebrated: Think of all that you do have, and be thankful for it. Somewhere out there is someone else who doesn't have half as much as you.

I was on effexor and welbutrin for few days on each and they both seemed to wire me up and make me worse on their 2nd or 3rd day. Which family of anitidepressants tend to make people relaxed and just normal? Those one's gave me more anxiety. Are the older technology anitdeperssant better for what I am looking for? I have not had much luck with the new ones. Please give me names of few brands so I can discuss them with my doctor.thanks

i had my period two weeks ago. me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex 3 times (in a 4 day period) and he came into me. about 2-3 days after the first time a goowy essence was profusely leaking nonstop for two days, then i was leaking even more of what looked and felt like water. now im not really leaking my when i check im always wet with a clear slime-feeling essence. im constipated, i get really dizzy to where i cant drive and sometimes light headed, i pee very little and it is always dark yellow with a strong smell. one time about 4 or 5 days after the first time having sex, my pee was tinted redish in some sections and looked like a little blood but when i wiped nothing showed. i also have backaches and my body feels worn out even though i havent done anything. could i be pregnant?? what other things should i look for?? My husband was born Nov.9,1962 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Tx.. He was given up for adoption. How does he go about getting a ACTUAL copy of his birth certificate listing his birth mother? The attorney that handled the adoption passed away years ago and his adoptive parents have both passed away. He was the only child. I did find out the adoption took place in Dallas county.

Have any of you ever masturbated and thought about a step dad or any family member? I feel really depressed about it. I did it like 1-2 years ago. One of my friends told me she did it too and some people tell me it is very wrong to do and some say it is normal. I did stuff with my cousin (a girl also) about 1 yr. ago and before that too but i realize now it's nasty and i guess i never really thought about it. I hear alot of people especially mostly girls do things like that when they are around that age. I am 17. First, I would like to apologize for a previous question posed by myself which seemed to offended atheist. This was not my intent.
I however gained much insight from these responses and now I feel fear.
For what I failed to mention was that I within the course of my own years have gone to predict that I too will become an atheist. I feel it is inevitable.
However, when I begin to ponder on the significance of my life without the god which I used to display much faith toward, I feel empty and afraid of realizing no one cares that I am here and that there is no need for me to be here.
Please provide your opinion on this.

I've been fortunate enough to be born into a very wealthy family and i have amazing friends too. I like to travel and try new things like yachting and sports and stuff but i'm having a real problem finding people that do the same thing. I'm 18 and ALL of my friends are in college (so am i) but they do nothing but work or stay at their homes. I know its expensive to do my activities but I can't find many people that would be willing to catch the next flight to Australia with me or spend the weekend in an entirely different place. I'm also not willing to pay for ppl because then i feel like i'm being used. I find my life very monotonous AND i only want to hang out with people that are around my age not some 30 yr old loser
