Best: "You're right."
Worst: "You're a devil-worshipper and you're going to hell."
I get the second one a lot more often.

The worst thing is the public insult by the very ignorant that Unitarian Universalists believe in nothing and that we can believe "anything." People who say that don't know us very well.
The best thing is when someone tells me that a sermon I have given or a sharing I have made has touched them and made them think about their life and shown them a way to make it better.

The worst thing is when I believed in Judaism and my own mother (a Christian) said to me with all sincerity, and fear, "Get thee away, Satan!" Just because I believed in Judaism! My own mother! That's the worst.
The best is when someone who does not even share my religion acknowledges something good about it.

This happened twice, with 2 different people on 2 different occasions!!
Each person said to me they could not maintain their stress. I asked them if they had ever tried meditating. They both looked horrified and declared , "No! I'm a Christian."
I'm frightened and repulsed. ???? I was not trying to turn them into Buddhists!
I am told many times that I have a few guardians. That makes me feel like no matter what, everything will be alright.

I'm a non-believer. The Best: "It makes lot of sense". The Worst: "You will be tormented in Hell for eternity".
