It seems that several of the neighborhoods I grew up in had a cat lady. Y'know the kind: their house reeks, their shhets look like a collection of old bath towels, and their bath towels look like cleaning rags from H e l l. They were usually friendly, definately crazy. I want to hear about your "cat lady" or are you one of them yourself?

I have raised about 35 cats in my life.

I may be returning to USA after 10 years for a brief stay. When I was in the US,
I owed some money to the shop cards [jc Penney, mont Ward, etc] and had one bad check for around 140$. These I could not pay.

I wish to find out what could be the worst that can happen. In the worst case,
I am ready to pay the money which is around 1700$ in all.

I am not returning to the same state where I stayed 10 years before and I am not planning to apply for any loans.

I will only need a bank account and also a credit card. Please let me know
if my normal life would be affected.

HOW DO I KNOW FOR SURE THAT MY STAY IN USA WILL NOT BE AFFECTED IN ANY WAY - WILL MY CREDIT HISTORY BE STILL IN RECORD. I WISH TO MAKE SURE THIS BEFORE I PLAN TO COME TO THE USA.

- I had one bad check which I could not pay around 140$
- I owed money of the order of 1700$ in total to some shop cards
- this happened 10 years ago

I love children. I've been babysitting and around children since I was 10. I have 4 nieces and nephews, and many of my friends are having kids. I am 23 and have been married a 1 1/2 years. My husband is 5 years older than me. I can't wait to be pregnant, but then I think about being a parent, and I'm scared to death of the concept and I guess it just blows my mind. I am also terrified of labor. Mothers, do you have any suggestions to ease my fears?

well this guy became best friends with my brother and about a month ago I ditched this guy because we were have some major communication problems wich led to some arguements. my brother still continued to still be friends with him, wich didn't bother until he brought him around a couple of days ago. the only thing that bothered me was well my ex kept telling me that he loved me and wanted to work things out. but I refuse to go back out with him because of the communication and I told him that. in fact because of the communication we had broke at least 4 times and I was also tired of that. ok know for the problem. not long after talking to my ex my brother got all pissy about mine and my ex's relationship starting argueing with me telling me that I should change everything about me to please my ex. and when I tried to tell him that I wasn't changing for anyone he got pissy with me and told me that I needed to grow up and realize I should please the man and not myself. help me.please!

I've been going out with this guy for say about a month and I still feel we are kind of distant. I would be okay with this usually but there is this other girl who likes him who I feel slightly threatened by and I was wondering are there any ways to make me and my boyfriend grow closer?

I recently dyed my hair red and I ended up staining the tub. I used shampoo to get rid of most of the stains but there are still some there and it has like a red haze to it. I was thinking of using rubbing alcohol. Does anyone have anything that might work?

I think its all need-based. If you could fulfill all your needs and desires independently, where would the motivation be to form relationships? We use employers, colleagues, clients and customers to get money. We use mates to procreate and have sex with. We use friends for entertainment and so we won't be lonely. We needed are parents or other caregivers to ensure our survival and we ensure the survival our children because we need them to carry on our legacy and maintain the species. When I presented this line of thought to a friend, she said I was cynical misanthropic. But I just don't see what the big mystery is with relationships. We need each other, and use each other to fulfill those needs. Am I missing something?

Me and my husband are having a really bad argument and he is trying to take the baby away from me.
