I live in the uk. Can anyone give me a posititive feedback ? Currently divorce> (FINANCIAL SETTLEMENT!) In a nutshell , my wife left me six years ago with 3 children to look after, their ages now are >23 left home) >21 & daughter of 17(full time college for 2 years) my wife has lived with her partner since she left & i also have apartner now who cooks cleans etc for us all! My wife now wants a payment of half the equity left in the house despite me having spent £15,000 on home improvements over the last 4 years, plus she left me with her pets which have cost me £3,000 in vets bills & on top of all that i was left with about another £4,000 of bills to sort out. She has not been near the house in 5 years & has contributed nothing (financially) she has made no effort to see the children at all & is not bothered if we end up with no home. (just wants her money) my solicitor advised me to agree a 45/55 in my favour! it goes to the first court in dec & just dont know which way to go.Advice?

Also tried storing them in a card board box in a sheltered frost free place outside, but that didn't seem to help either. The carrots go bendy and soft, and get brown marks on the outside. Not particularly appetising! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks very much.

If you are muslim, do you enjoy wearing your hijab, or does it feel like more of a burden to you? Especially if you were raised in America. As a child did you dread having to one day put it on, or did your parent give you the choice? I asked one of my friends before and she said that she had chosen to wear one. Also, is it true that wearing a hijab is not part of the koran? If so, why do you wear it?

to read thick books whether adventure, science fictions, etc. or to read the dictionary itself and list the words? for me, i think it's the second one because reading is not my type.. but i do read when i don't have any other thing to do..

I don't think that sex is somthing that is needed in a relationship but it is somthing that I want. My girlfriend is a virgin and I am afraid that if I ask her to have sex with me then she will not trust me anymore. We do love each other... but up till this point I didn't think sex was somthing that we were ready for. I am ready now but I don't know if she is. How do I go about asking her to do this?

This isn't relative to me, but a friend of mine, whose behavior I've been observing for awhile now. I'm a first year psychology student and after observing, I am curious. Basically, the story is this: I know a person who is 18 years old and have known them awhile. Basically, the kid is what you'd call a wimp. A bit submissive, doesn't stand up for himself, the usual characteristics. And from seeing his parents, his Father is what you'd call submissive too. So this is my question: is this kid sensitive by nature or is it something that he learned from Dad? Another nature vs. nurture argument, I know, but I am curious. Will this kid ever be able to acquire the mental toughness? Is it in him? Or is it something deeply rooted, he will likely continue to be submissive? And would there be any techniques to acquire the mental toughness or would it be more something they would learn from life experiences? Answers are greatly appreciated.

That is, are you certain of God's form (what shape he takes or what he looks like),of God's being, are you arrogant enough to claim the knowledge of God? something that is impossible to understand due to our insignificant faculties as humans...This is the humility of the concept: you accept that humans are incapable of understanding the full complexity of God.

I am sure you cannot explain the true shape, for example, of God.....so how can you NOT doubt?

If you don't know, yet you claim certainty in such things, such as his shape and perfect understanding in his being....then are you really beleiving if you don't know, yet say you know how he is?

I have high speed internet through my cable . There are no telephones involved. I will shut down my computer, watch and listen for it to shut down and the light goes out on my tower and my monitor goes blank only to return a few hours later and find that it has restarted. What gives?
