Not really a safe way to do it. It is really a last resort to a normal IV and an IO is a better option in my opinion. You risk air embolism with EJ. You must make sure it is well occlude after you do it and very secure. I am assuming you are asking for some type of class you are in. The actual procedure should be outlined somewhere in your text books. And I have only heard of the one way to do it.

Why would you want to canulate your jugular vein?

But since you ask - get a surgeon or anaesthetist to do it.
