That is, are you certain of God's form (what shape he takes or what he looks like),of God's being, are you arrogant enough to claim the knowledge of God? something that is impossible to understand due to our insignificant faculties as humans...This is the humility of the concept: you accept that humans are incapable of understanding the full complexity of God.
I am sure you cannot explain the true shape, for example, of God.....so how can you NOT doubt?
If you don't know, yet you claim certainty in such things, such as his shape and perfect understanding in his being....then are you really beleiving if you don't know, yet say you know how he is?

no, tracy is just questioning, and this is good. I did not meant to "go after her"--I just wanted her response..
Barney, I am afraid you don't understand..
Neither of us are wrong or right.
We just do not know for certain ...tracy just claimed certainty by shunning doubt---so I asked her if she was that certain.
I am not doubting the usual way...I doubting to beleive, which is very different. that's all the message was supposed to deliver.
certainty is something we desire---but we cannot reach it by incomplete truths (such as the bible, which is incomplete--missing gospels--and is also written by humans, so inherently flawed)---so I just proposed doubt and questioning, so that one day we can approach it. And I think we will find it, in one shape or form, through technology and the goodwill of man....we will expand our conciousness and be able to understand the fullness of God..
I sense a warmth and humility from some of the answerers...
