We want to be close to the action, are not rich (i.e on a budget) - but love the area!
1) Any advice / help / experience would be great!
2) How much are we looking at for a decent 2 bedroom?
3) Any good estate agents?

We are broke, but don't want to move to the suburbs!

There are lots of estate agents on West End Lane ... You shouldn't have much trouble there ...

If youre on a budget .. maybe you should try kilburn though.

West Hampstead is probably not a budget area.

The whole area is a reasonable area but you can get all sorts of flats in all sorts of conditions. You just have to view the flats. For a decent one, you're probably looking at between £250,000 and £400,000. You may get high rise 2 bed flats cheaper for as little as £190,000 but to be honest, if it's being advertised for much less than £250,000, there's a good reason for it. Noe Glasman was a good estate agent I found in the area (although this is based on when I was viewing - I have not bought a flat in W Hampstead as I can't afford the area anymore). I tend to use findaproperty.com http://www.findaproperty.com and found that pretty much all the estate agents in the area use this website to advertise.
