As a mechanical engineering student you have lot of opportunities in Aerospace
and in aero industry. If you will try in I.I.T.Bombey/I.I.T.Kanpur (Aerospace dep. )
then it is better for you. For this you should be hard working and honest in yor study.

Get your mechanical engineering degree. Take as many courses in aeronautic and allied field, if you can.
Join a aircraft manufacturer, as a mechanical engineer.
Learn while you earn.
Go for masters in aeronautic or space science or aeronautical engineering, or aerospace engineering.
