my little sister whom is 15 years old i think has an eating disorder or something. she was a healthy size 7 in juniors and she has recently lost 25 pounds, and now she is like Stick Thin!
she has cut her food portion sizes down to like, nothing! and she is constantly drinking hot plain water, i don't know why. and she is always concerned about her calorie intake and how much she needs to exercise.
i've tried telling my parents about her eating habits, but they insist that she is just trying to be "healthy".
i keep advising my sister to eat a little more, but she mentally thinks that if she eats a little more, that she'll gain a whopping 10 pounds or something.
i noticed her eating today and all she had was for
breakfast : was a super small serving of fruit and a glass of fat free milk.
lunch: 1 boiled egg, a small serving of broccoli, and 1 incredibly thin slice of lean ham
dinner: fat free Yoplait yogurt and a glass of hot water.
how can i help my little sister?

I have just one daughter and I am very happy with just one... however... when I tell people that I am not having anymore they look at me like I am some kind of psychopath. My daughter on occasion has expressed that she wants a sibling.. but that JUST won't work for me and my situation at all. Am I somehow "damaging" her by not giving her siblings?

Well, religious folks comment that we should not speak about their beliefs since we are ignorant of them.

If so, shouldn't they stay out scientific topics like evolution or the Big Bang since they are equally ignorant of them due to the misconceptions they developed from their religion?

not real and how were your views of your parents (for lying to you), of Christmas (for being based on a lie for children) and of life in general changed?

as of 11pm that night... I pay child support for my 3 children, now that my income has come to a STAND STILL, does anyone know what will happen, will i still have to pay the same amount per week, or will it go down? etc. etc.... Does anyone think "talking" to someone through mail, email or IM and getting to know them without physically meeting them can actually lead to a healthy, romantic relationship? My daughter has a good friend whose "father" is a homeless person and has nothing to do with the boy (16). I suspect he is actually the son a former bf that I lived with for 5 years because I see the resemblance and that bf told me he "thought" he had slept with the mother (while drunk) when his gf (at the time) was pregnant. The time frame is correct for this boy to be his son. I know if this man knew he was the father he'd "be there" for him like his "dad" wasn't because he now has a relationship with his first son from when he was 16. The mother of this kid is totally "not there" and I feel kind of bad for him. My ex boyfriend is a great guy as a friend and a father, but just not as a boyfriend. What do you think is the right thing to do?

this would be more a more convenient place than where the current one is now. I know the height between the floor and ceiling is 8 feet but I do not know how much is between the ceiling downstairs and the floor upstairs. There's a guy in my health class who actually asked "what's the difference between a homosexual and a transgendered person?" Now being not only lesbian but extrememly liberal, it did kinda piss me off but at least he's not /ignorant/. He's actually making an effort. And if I tried to talk to him, it would NIT come out in a very... /Civil/ way. So, if he's curious, then I'll just have someone else explain it to him, and my Mom suggested a website. So... It seems that the love thing and the discipline functions are what would be expected from a father in the critical years of youth. The high numbers of fathers who need to work excessive hours and the large proportion of single parent homes seem to be depriving children of their fathers. Could this explain the religious fervour of many of the Christians. Do God and Jesus represent the fathers they wish that they had, and never did.
