There's a guy in my health class who actually asked "what's the difference between a homosexual and a transgendered person?" Now being not only lesbian but extrememly liberal, it did kinda piss me off but at least he's not /ignorant/. He's actually making an effort. And if I tried to talk to him, it would NIT come out in a very... /Civil/ way. So, if he's curious, then I'll just have someone else explain it to him, and my Mom suggested a website. So... Anyone know any good ones?

This a great site about sex and sexuality for and by teens. It explains a lot of what you and your friend might be looking for. It cuts thru the BS and sticks to the facts.

Also you might want to use OutProud, a gay and lesbian youth web site that has lots of other useful information and loads of links to other sites

At 15 nobody is obligated to be an expert in sexuality. He asked a perfectly valid question in health class...isn't that where you are supposed to ask questions, instead of someone giving you a website to "look it up"?

Believe me, you may feel super-smart right now, but when you are my age (40), you will wish you had enjoyed your youth. (15 is still childhood).

I knew way too much about sexuality..just like you, when I was 15, and I can't believe now that I look back on it, that I was a kid, and those things shouldn't be priorities at 15.

I wouldn't worry about this kid in your class. It isn't your job to educate him, (unless you are the teacher, but I wouldn't imagine a teacher speaking so unethically) especially if he shows no interest in the subject.

Keep hanging around with the kids that know about homosexuality and transgender, and progress to whatever level of promiscuity that you will, but don't get angry because a kid is being, well.....a kid.

The best resource is not actually a website. I read a book that covered all of this and more abour sex and sexuality. The book is called "All you wanted to know about sex" By Dr.Rueben
