In my opinion, All the terms of endearment we have are demeaning, cutesy, or too casual. They're not loving words girlfriend/boyfriend? People use it when they've dated for two weeks and will be broken up by three. “Significant other” is still too technical. What's left? “Lover” who needs to know that?; it used to be acceptable. My Sweetie? YUCK! In Chinese, you can say "my beloved one," which is quite nice, but sounds pretentious in English. English just doesn't cut it in this area- It's bothersome and, really, a little bit sad, I think.
What do you call your..............??

You have an older brother that you're very close to. You're his little sister that he adores. One time you both watched a movie with your mom and you decided to take a pillow and rest it against the side of his stomach and rest your head on that pillow while he rested his arm around your arm or shoulder gently stroking. And he would let you rest your feet on his thighs while he rubbed your feet.

Ok or wrong? Or does it remind you of Angelina Jolie?

I met this girl a few weeks back. And for the record, I do have a girlfriend. But the thing is, I find this girl attractive. We've exhanged SMSes numerous of times. But, few nights ago, when I was chatting with her, she asked me whether I'm single or not? Well, feeling and thinking that being honest is the best thing to do, I answered "I've a girlfriend". Then the next day, I SMSes her few times, there's no reply from her? I'm puzzled? Why does she ignores me now after knowing that I've a girlfriend. Kindly advice me on this. I'm dead puzzled!! Thanks in advance.

I'm serious, it is one thing to have pride in your appearence and to be healthy and fit, but I just saw in the news another model died from anorexia. But it's not just models, My mother has a friend whos beautiful 16 year old daughter is currently in the hospital from anorexia. Practically every female I know and lots of males too are obsessed with their appearence and weight. I know too, I've always had an extra 20 lbs and it has tortured me my whole life. I never developed an eating disorder just cause I'm a strong willed girl but I'd be lying to say it hasn't made me very very depressed at times. But why? People today are looking like walking skeletons, I wanna know where all these obese Americans are supposed to be (besides walmart, ha ha joke) cause all I see are starving people everywhere. Does anyone else think enough is enough?!

i think it should. Everytime i go for a little drive i often see parents smoking in their cars with their children inside them. It absolutely sickens me because the children have to breath the cigarette air. Some parents leave their windows closed.

Sometimes I see things in my peripheral vision, like someone (a person) passed by but when I turn to face it, there is really nothing there. I'm not so sure if its just my imagination but I guess I want to know if am I really seeing or feeling things from a different dimension? Is it normal?

I'm going to be doing a persuasive speech and I'm having trouble finding a topic. I need to persuade my audience of something and I want it to be original. I want a topic that will really make my audience think. For example, the positive side of sweat shops. They might not pay much, but for many that $1 a day is keeping them alive and away from prostitution. Something like that (I can't use that one because it was an example my professor gave). This is my final speech, so I need it to be a good one. I'm speaking to college students so I need something that will affect them, but yet I don't want it to be about not smoking or something like that because my professor has probably heard a million speeches about that topic. Please help.

Sad News!

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community.

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half- baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man
and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

If this made you smile for even a brief second, please rise to the occasion and take time to pass it on and share that smile with someone else who may be having a crummy day and kneads it.

I asked this question a few months back, but it's always fun to see the responses I get!!! I'll tell my story:
I was on a date with this guy, it was like our fourth date and we seemd to REALLY like each other. I asked him if he wanted to get some dinner and he didn't have any money. I am not a gold digger so I offered to pay. Anyway, we were sitting at the Olive Garden enjoying ourselves and I laughed at something he said (He made me laugh quite a bit!!!). My laughter can get pretty loud sometimes, especially if I think that something is really funny. He got real serious and scolded me, he was like "don't laugh that loud, you are embaressing!!!!" I was SHOCKED. I couldn't even eat after that!!!! I decided not to go out with that guy again!!!

Did:

1...The District Attorney's Office being represented by Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden do a poor job in prosecuting OJ Simpson?

2...Did Johnny Cochoran, F. Lee Bailey, and company put on a great defense?

3...Did the jurors simply not look at the facts and/or were the jurors reluctant to find a celebrity guilty of murder?

4...Any thoughts about Judge Lance Ito, who was the presiding judge throughout the trial.

5...Was OJ Simpson innocent and did someone else commit the crimes?

6...Did the media have any role that may have influenced the verdict?

7...Did the system of justice come apart or did it prevail in the trial of OJ Simpson?

8...And, can you say the same influences that were there for OJ Simpson were there in the trial of Robert Blake?

9...Did the police plant any evidence and were the police at fault in collecting the evidence including the DNA evidence.

If you remembered the trial, did the glove fit OJ Simpson...?

Your thoughts...

I am sure we all have or have heard an original saying that someone says that seems to catch on what is yours? Mine is "SAVE YOUR STORY FOR HOLLYWOOD" I say that to my daughters when they try to make excuses for things.
