Trying to get out of Java back to what ever I had before. I'm a Grandma ..Help me correct my error. thanks

I have little computer knowledge but need it since I am home bound. My computer is my link to the outside world. All my shopping is thru internet. Any helpful knownledge will be most appreciated. Thank you all so very much, Grandma Faith

you probably have Java runtime , which you'll need for some sites, but if for some reason you need it out, you can just go to control panel -> Remove/ install programs, then you will have a list of a lot of applications, including the java plataform, double clivk on it.
