My b/f (fiance) went and found my journal filled of my personal thoughts and feelings, read it, ripped it to pieces, called me at work to cuss me out and be mad at me about it. He was mad about things that happend b4 i met him. I want to know why guys would want to invade privacy like that, because he won't give me an answer?

He won't give you an answer because to do so truthfully he would have to accept the truth about himself. He is very insecure in the relationship and has very low self esteem. And an anger management problem! His doing this before you marry him could actually be a blessing. Today your diary was torn up,what will you do when it is you that he rips to pieces? I beg you to walk..no RUN away from him ASAP!

Older not wiser, you are very rude with your words. Do you know what was in the diary? Why do you assume it is about sex and why do you call her a pro? you sound as bad as her b/f! I call it the SMS Syndrome....small man syndrome!

i think it was wrong for him to read your personal stuff and to get mad over stuff that happened years ago. he didn't have the right to do that, but then again you probaly would've done the same thing, i know i would ( reading journal if he had any) just talk to him and tell him whatever happened was in the past, and everything is diff now. tell him that he had no right to invade your privacy like that and still react like he did..well good luck...
by the way i'm getting married soon with my bf in a week, so i need to keep that in mind. i'll leave everything personal in my parents house cause i know he would read it if he found my journal.

For some reason men like to know they've been the ONLY ONE..however when they discuss prior relationships we are expected to understand. I know this because my husband is this way, But the way to make this better is do what I do.. Hold him and remind him that he's the one with youre heart now and those guys were history. Be prepared he'll ask why you still have the journal!? (they get tricky some times) Tell him you haven't had the time to clean out your room, drawer whever you have it kind of make it seem like the Journal is non important..! GOOD LUCK!

We tell our journals things we wouldn't tell anyone else. It is usually the one place where you can be completely honest about yourself. People get curious.

It's possible he looked in it to find out how you really feel about him or whatever... fact is, he is insecure and may have been looking for answers in the one place you would be honest. Of course it was wrong... but sometimes our curiousity gets the best of us.

We call all say till we are blue in the face that he has no right to get mad over that, and that's true, but I bet if the tables were turned and you saw something you didn't like you would get mad too.

He was wrong... but I think it was just because he either felt you were holding back on something.. but all in all... just insecure and doesn't trust himself in knowing you.

people are nosey... secrets shouldnt be kept.. (there shouldnt be anything in there he doesnt know already and if there is he probably not to fond of not knowing that of you)

LoL my girl found my old journal. She was smart though not ripping it up and destroying all evidence. Some people dont like thinking about their love thinking and writing about someone else. Got a current journal? hehe if its good about him it kind of cancels out the other one. The best explanation is curiousity..
If you saw a journal would you take a quick look? saw something you didnt know... hmmm read alil more... "aww thats cute" .... "WHAT THE ****" *in a rage starts rippin* probably something like that? :D
at least you didnt write how much of a jerk he was being and he read it ;)

uh-oh better not lettem see the question!

Its because alot of guys cant stand the fact that someone else had the person they love before. They always want to know what happened in the past and then when they find out it just makes them so mad like they have to compare themselves to these other guys. You just need to sit down and talk to him and let him know that those things are in the past and you would never compare him to any of those guys. those guys dont mean anything to you anymore that you love him and want to be with him. Its just a guy thing.

why? because they are guilty about the things they are doing or have done so they feel like they gotta invade your privacy. my man did this to me all the time. this is what i did (totally cruel, but it made the point) i wrote a letter to my ex telling him my son was his and not my man's then i stuck it where he would find it and read it. he was totally devastated, but since the paternity test, he hasn't read any of my stuff! my son is his by the way!

because he's your boyfriend. Mines did the exact same thing. I didn't want him to see it but he took it, so I let him read, so he nagged for a few days but got over it. He's just jealous. In a way it's sweet because that shows he really does care about you. Sometimes you have to look at things from a diff. perspective

He's a jerk. If he was truly a good boyfriend, he would never invade your personal things. He also wouldn't get mad at you for things that obviously happened in the past, and mean nothing now.

Did he at least take notes? Evidently your vivid exploits make his look like a trip to Disneyland. Just tell him you were just practicing for the day you met a 'real man'. So now that he knows your a pro and it's all in print, lay back and enjoy the ride.
