while muslims keep bragging that their koran is pure and authentic, i find it to be filled with stories that have been plagarized from religions and beliefs that predates islam such as hinduism, zorastrianism, judaism , arab and greek myths.

how can muslims say that the koran is authentic? any donkey who reads the koran will understand that it has been plagarized.?

i went to the ENT specialists and she inserted a tube-like metal rod inside my nose, and it felt awful, afterwards, i noticed that i had runny nose, i wiped my nose and saw doplets of blood. could that be caused by the insertion of the instrument?

I have finally made the decision to leave my verbally/emotionally ( has been physical in the past 3 times) abusive husband within the next 2 weeks. I am preparing for my exit with my 2 small children over to my mom's for awhile. We've been married for 12 years and although I feel it's the right thing to do as counseling doesn't seem to be working & he's still abusive. The problem is I keep thinking of the good times when he's being Mr. Nice Guy and downplaying the extreme abuse. I hate to htink of him with someone else and going on happily after I feel like I'm used goods left with 2 kids and all the responsibilty while he lives carefree except for paying child support. I don't know how to stop feeling guilty and dealing with the fact that my so called dream of a family is over. I thought that if I changed for the better he would change and that's just not happening. How do I move on when I still have love for him but I can't take his abuse anymore?

Personally I feel that I have to benefit people/help people and earn my money doing that.
So effectively I help others and in doing so help myself.
However doing a job like that(such as a nurse) would mean I would not be as rich as I could be(financially) and ppl out that treat those ppl with lesser money and heart in such a way that I feel bad and uncomfotable.

Like they make it such that you cant enjoy the little you have.
And I fear/worry that this will lead me to be a bad person down the line.
I have seen lots of ppl with heart and dedicate their lives either to their passion or helping others turn bitter and resentful afterwards cos ppl with no heart and just greed seem to get all the money and get treated well because of their money and get to walk over others with heart.

On the other hand if I let greed be my motivation, I will have a lot of money but I will only enjoy indulging myself with the money and not working for it because I feel like an exploiter of nature/man

I've been wanting to have a cat for a very, very long time and finally decided to go ahead and adopt one. Because my hubby will be studying next year and finances will be tight, we've opted to have just one cat. I work and since bringing her home I've been feeling really guilty about leaving her alone at home during the day.

When I was growing up we always had one cat at a time but now everyone around me seems to be saying that I should have two. Am I being really cruel in just having one? If I can't have two cats should I get rid of the one that I have now and give her up to a multi-cat household?

I've been Googling like mad to find info or comment from working or studying couples or singlets who have a single cat but I've hardly come across anything. Is there *anyone* out there in the same boat as me? If so, how are your kitties handling things?

I always had alot of guy friends in school. I thought it was easier being friends with them because they are not competing against you.
