i went to the ENT specialists and she inserted a tube-like metal rod inside my nose, and it felt awful, afterwards, i noticed that i had runny nose, i wiped my nose and saw doplets of blood. could that be caused by the insertion of the instrument?

have you ever had nose bleed before?if no then i think it's cause is the instrument that was inserted

Sure. Routine exams of your nose may cause some discomfort and bleeding.

yes, because when he/she stuck the inserted the tube in your nose it just irratated it thats all nothing to worry about :) ....
