The person on top talks about a feed aggragator or RSS-reader. Don't bother downloading one -- the newest version of Internet Explorer and Mozillia Firefox (getfirefox.com) act as aggragators. Just upgrade your webbrowser.

Once you've done that, here's how to use the RSS-reading feature:

1) When you go to a site with an RSS feed (for example, my site http://www.lucastds.com/webcomic/), an orange box will appear. In firefox, it appears up next to the site address and in the new Internet Explorer it appears on the top line. The box looks like this:

2) When you click on the feed icon it will do one of two things:
IN FIREFOX:
It will ask you to add the feed to your "live bookmarks". You click "Add to bookmarks" and once you've done that the feed is there for you to find in your bookmarks. folder

IN INTERNET EXPLORER
You click the feed icon and it will take you to a page showing you what content is in the feed. You click "Subscribe to this feed"... then, you click "view my feeds" and you'll be able to find your feeds in your favourites centre.

In general, I find Firefox a bit better for viewing feeds than the new Internet Explorer, but explorer gets the job done.

Once you get used to it, this process is quite easy. RSS feeds usually show you a list of the latest articles or news stories (or, in the case of my website, comics), published by a site. When you click on the feed that you've bookmarked/favourited, it will show you the latest content available from that site.

The easiest way to experience RSS is through an RSS "newsreader" or "aggregator" for your desktop computer. This will fetch and organize recent content and provide simple ways to read it. Below is a list of free and recommended RSS clients for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms.

Copy the URL at the top first. Each reader will have a different place to paste the URL, so you need to read the help manual or whatever to know where to put the copied URL. When you've figured that out, paste and it should do the rest of the work.
