I need rules for planning an Office Secret Santa. I am talking of the ritual of leaving someone surprise gifts for like 12 days or something. NOT THE OLD FASHINONED POLYANNA!I have heard of people playing this around the holidays, but never paid much attention to how exactly it goes. If anyone has some guidelines... I could really use them!
Some things I'd find helpful are:
Spending limits
When to start
How many days/gifts per day
When to reveal identities
etc., etc., etc.

My 3 month old puppy ate just fine before we had her fixed 2 weeks ago. After we had her fixed I guess she thought she was going to starve (we couldn't give her food 12 hours before the surgery) and she wouldn't eat for about a day after surgery. Then, she just started eating her food so fast and wouldn't chew it and would vomit. So we had to feed her rice and boiled hamburger meat for about a week. Well, she is keeping her food down fine but she eats SO fast!! She never chews it. And also when there is food out she doesn't even know anything else exsist. She use to not do this!! Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it!! Help Please!!

I got hit in the lower leg twice on one day by a hockey puck, and I wasn't wearing my hockey pads. My doc wants to send me for a bone scan as he says it could be a stress fracture.

Would getting hit by a puck pretty hard twice be enough to cause a stress fracture? I thought those happen when a person all of a sudden increases physical activity.

I'm thinking It may be ligament pain. How can you tell bony pain from ligament pain?

I like my job and most of the people i work with. However, i get paid peanuts for what (i think) i am worth. Our salesmen are always giving me compliments on how much of a great job i am doing and they even mention it to the owner of the company, but still all i get is criticism from Pam (my FEMALE boss). I have a 16 month old daughter and i need to make at least 3 dollars more. I know that i probably won't get that much of a raise but i need at least a dollar. Our year-end-review is coming up and I need to know how to prepare myself for her negative attitude towards me and i need to know a proffesional way of asking for a raise even if her feedback on me is negative.

In 2001 I sold a property to a woman for $155 G at 10% interest to be made in payments of $1500/mo. until 2020 (according to a CPA). I'm now making her an offer to pay off the balance (of $135 G, according to the CPA) for $100 G cash. She says 100 G is high since she's already paid X amount; I say it's low - much better for her to pay 100G now than make another 14 years of payments. What do you think?

Question no. 2: She claims that the payment schedule made by the CPA is "only for the bank" and she really owes 12, not 14, years. Is that BS?

If you answer, please tell me what your qualifications are.

There's a website that has student written college and university reviews. Student and alum can write about how they thought the college was and also how difficult it was to get in. It also has brief sumaries of the colleges and their majors, acceptance rates, average scores, etc. They also have pie graphs that show the percentage of students that have a job 6 months after graduation. Students can grade the faciltiies and courses. It's not collegeconfidential.com.

But about 5 months ago, he left his company and decided to start a business. Well, he actually began 12 companies and is working on a 13th. He is a workaholic, and that is fine if thats what he wants. However, he is using our home as his office and people are in and out at all hours (as early as 7:30am and as late as 2:00am) almost always without any notice. I am stressed as we have two very active twin boys that are in elementary school. I have very little privacy or home life. It is wearing on me that I want to cry all the time. My husband will not listen to my concerns or respect any rules (nobody in home until I get boys off to school). He gets angry and shouts. To make it worse, his employees know everything about us: Whats in our refrigerator, when we pay our bills, who calls, etc. and they gossip about us...which really upsets me as we have been so open and giving. Any advice???
