Would a child born in Spain to Columbian parents and who has lived most of their life in Columbia be eligible for Spanish citizenship?

I think that because the child was born in spain they are eligible for citizenship.

It will depend on the time that you have been living in Spain. Assuming the child will be born in Spain and if you have indefinite leave to remain in Spain then the application has a good chance. Otherwise if you are on a temporary permit, I doubt whether a Spanish passport will be issued.

Im surprised if a child born in Spain is not automatically a Spanish citizen. Look at this site, it should give you your answer.

Born in Espana the child is Spanish. No question....the answer is yes.
