I once heard that if you apply saliva or salt water to a mosquito bite, it will help draw out the itch. Is that true and, if so, why?

When i blow dry my hair its wavy and frizzy, so i straighten it. I dont like to straighten it because it gets so damaged but when i let my hair air dry its not nicely curled or loosely waved, ITS UGLY! What can i do to get a relaxed wave look like...Jennifer Aniston so i wont damage my hair so much with the straightner???

My mom lost our issue and there was a recipe in the Thanksgiving recipe section that was for some kind of onions. They looked really cool and good. Looked on the website and it's not there, some of the recipes from the issue are there but not all of them and not that one! If you have that magazine please share the recipe with me. The picture was of some white onions that were obviously cooked or baked somehow and they looked kinda nice and fancy. Thanks!

From reading some of these questions, it is obvious that many people feel they are "stuck" in their marriage. No explanaion needed, but how many people would divorce their spouse if they "could"( if for whever reason they think they can't). yes for would divorce...no for would not. Just trying to get a poll on how many people are in unhappy marriages.

My legs are big and I am fit around 115-120 pounds I am thin all over but my legs stand out and its pretty much muscle but I need to slim them down my right leg seems bigger mabe because I am right handed I dont really know but I hate it and I could stand if my right was the size of my left I wouldnt like it much but I could at least wear shorts without feeling un-even so .. anyone if you have anything that will work im not asking for a hunch or a chance it might I am asking for a proven fact that something will work I am already self consious enough I dont need this bothering me too ! someone help me !

Although both the battery and Alternator are fine (got them checked at Auto Zone), the battery still drains out even though it is charged for 15-20 mins. Any help is appreciated...

Also, this car makes more than normal engine noise when it runs (has 149k miles) although it does not have running problems. I guess engine is not tuned properly...any ideas on this as well???

I was just wondering how you guys find who (bands and stuff) are TV? Is there a website or something so you can figure it out ahead of time when they are going to be on a particular show? PANIC! At The Disco was on TRL and on other shows and I didn't know about any of them! So I don't miss future performances or whatever, is there a website to see special appearances?
