You have to use it on a regular basis and eat healthy. You are not going to lose weight just because you bought the treadmill. Diet and exercise. Simple as that.

If you work out for 30 min on a treadmill, you probably burn 200-400 cal. One meal is typically more than that and if you are overweight, one meal could easily be 2-3 times more than that.

So I'm definitely not saying you shouldnt get a treadmill, exercising is necessary to have a healthy heart and other muscles. A healthy diet is more important for weight loss, however, than exercise. The best thing would be a healthy diet in conjunction with regular exercise.

I haven't bought one (thinking about it) but I bought the AbFlex and it's sitting outside.
I find that i am more motivated where people compliment me and encourage me to keep going.
I use the treadmill and gym at work and I've lost 107 lbs.
