Car: 2000 Trans Am w/ the ws6 Ram Air Package. 5.7L V8 LS1 engine, puts out 320HP. Automatic Transmission. claims 17 city mpg/25 highway mpg.

My main question is, I've heard the K&N increases both horsepower and miles per gallon. I know every engine is different, etc., but what kind of gains can be expected and does it actually work for the $65. Also, would the gains, if any, be noticeable around town, or just racing?

Also, how much maintenance is it to clean, and if its so great for only $65, why didnt GM just install it themselves? seems like it'd be worth it to advertise better power and fuel efficiency. What are the downsides and tradeoffs?

My boyfriend just got a nice job. We are young so, this is our first time attending a company party. I've read other posting on here and decide to wear a nice cocktail length dress, but I need to find an inexpensive but cute one that doesn't make me look fatter that I already becoming I'm 21 y/o 5'11 185lbs. Are there any ladies (or men) know of any websites that have "cocktail type" dresses for under $100 that dont have bunched or puffy designs that make you look fat? AND I wear a size 11 sandal, so shoe sites that carry larger sizes for dress shoes would be helpful as well.

Which would everyone like to see more, firefly/serenity reserrected as a new series or as a fim. I thought the film was pretty good, but i think the series came out on top. Which would everyone else like to see more, or do you think it's best for firefly to finish before it gets ruined?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a bit over 2 years. We used to live together but I've now moved away for University so we only see each other on weekends. We've been talking about marriage on and off for about a year now and about two months ago I suggested it (somewhat like a proposal, but more of a suggestion) and he said he'd like to wait a bit longer (around 3 years) so I dropped the subject. The thing is, since then he's been talking about the future a lot more, like where we're going to buy a house and where we're going to raise our kids, and last weekend he asked me to marry him, only when I asked if he was serious he said 'no'. So now I'm confused. Could he just be messing with me cos he knows it's what I want? Advice?
