Which would everyone like to see more, firefly/serenity reserrected as a new series or as a fim. I thought the film was pretty good, but i think the series came out on top. Which would everyone else like to see more, or do you think it's best for firefly to finish before it gets ruined?

I'd like to see a series come back (BUT ONLY if it's got Wash in it), because I'd love to see where it goes.

Joss Whedon has said in interviews that if the series had carried on, there would have been more stuff about the sinister Blue Sun corporation, more about why the cut up River's brain in the first place, and more about how Book knows so much about guns and crime. These are all things I'd love to know.

I'd also like to see where the series goes anyway. Buffy and Angel both got better as they went on, and the same would be true of a Firefly series.

I think if they ever did another Firefly series though, they should tone down the western angle a bit. As the "Firefly" 'verse has all these different cultures jumbled up together they could play on that, rather than always the same western frontier towns. Let's face it, the Alliance was a merging of the US and China - its time they played up the oriental a bit. By having it too "western", I think they put off a lot of people who don't really do cowboys and indians. The best bits of the movie were when they weren't in a western environ.

Plus (final point), if they had another Firefly series, there'd be more Captain Tightpants!!!!!!

From what I comprehend Firefly grew to become into between the terrific series that no person watched. Admittedly i did no longer watch it whilst it grew to become into on television (i do no longer watch plenty community television at the instant) yet i offered the dvd's and that i enjoyed the tutor. i've got heard that he's making an attempt to get the series further returned yet it is going to be perplexing to do. i haven't regarded at Joss' internet site yet probable the terrific component he ought to do is to get all of the followers to initiate a letter writing marketing campaign or initiate a petition to tutor the networks that there are legions of people obtainable who might drop each little thing to observe the tutor. I have not have been given any thought how hollywood works yet i'm specific all of it comes right down to money. i assume in the event that they do no longer think of everybody is watching the tutor then there are actually not any advertisers to sponsor it so the tutor gets yanked. i might like it if the tutor got here returned and that they began filming new episodes.

hells yes! i'm still depressed that they cancelled firefly after only 13 episodes. wtf??

however, i would only like it if joss whedon did it with all the original actors. if someone else came in and tried to do it, it woulc be crap and i'd be pissed.

only problem: if a new series were to continue the story from Serenity, the movie, Alan Tudyk wouldnt be in it. Steve the Pirate is not allowed to be dead!

I've only seen the movie, which I thought was great.
I'm waiting for sci-fi to show the show again from the start, as they are currently halfway through it.
I think another movie would be good.

I would like to see the TV series to come back...but it would seem odd not having Wash there.

No, I never really liked it. It was 'waggon train in space', exactly the sort of series Gene Roddeberry refused to make! I know it attracted a small following, but I'm not surprised it flopped.
