My husband is constantly making rude noises. All night in bed, he snorts. I've asked him to do something about his sinuses, but he says he can "live with it" - well it drives me batty! When he drinks soda, he loudly sucks it out of the can like a vacuum cleaner. He makes smacking noises when he eats. He was careful not to do those things while we were dating, but we've been married 5 months now and he's freaking driving me bonkers. I ask him to stop, and now he says that everything he does annoys me. Not everything annoys me - just the rude noises and the fact that he's taken up smoking again (I refused to marry him unless he quit because he's much older than I am and I don't want to be widowed too early). He's getting on my last nerve and I don't know how to get him to stop being so rude, without sounding like a nag.

My husbands mother is coming and he has his brothers that recently moved to our area that are coming as well. One brother has 5 children which arent his and the other brother is just weird ( he was incarcerated from 13-18). I am dreading the actual day because we are very different my family is educated and we have goals in life while his( except his mother) prefers to live off tax payers dollars. How do I get past this with out going crazy the only thing I have to look forward to is my granmother coming and I can display for her the many things I am greatful for that she has showed me as a child. They want ribs and barbeque food and I am a more traditional person. Please give me an insight. Their will be 23 people at my house more than half are kids. How do I keep other peoples kids in control as well?

"Each approved visa petition is placed in chronological order according to the date the visa petitioin was filed. The date the visa petition was filed is known as your priority date. The State Department publishes a bulletin that shows the month and year of the visa petitions they are working on by country and preference category (see eligibility information above). You can estimate of the amount of time it will take to get an immigrant visa number by comparing your priority date with the date listed in the bulletin. For instance, suppose you look under your country and preference category, and see that the State Department is working on applications they received in May 1996. If your priority date is May 1998, then you may have to wait several more years for an immigrant visa number to become available."

Just curious how Canada is viewed by the rest of the world. Aside from the living in igloos, and saying "aboot", both are not true.

God I love living here.

A roaring fire, hot tea, and a cozy blanket.
A raging party, a hot hook-up, and a cozy cocktail.
A long walk by the shore.
A hard day's work in the kitchen.
A shopping spree on 5th Avenue.
A brisk walk through the countryside.
A long snuggle with my honey.
Whatever you want to do!

I actually find it quite interesting, some of the answers concerning Darfur from questions I read. One that really provoked thinking was this one by Leogirl: "Hey? People are whining about war? Let the liberals go and fight this one. Or France, or Russia, or someone else. "

Now, the reason I found it interesting is that a similar event happened in Rwanda; a genocide in which several innocent Tusis, over half a million in fact, were killed by Hutus. Now the president who was in command at the time was Bill Clinton. Oddly enough, he is continuously criticized for his inaction regarding Rwanda.

Now, in Sudan currently is a group called the Janjaweed, led by a man named Joseph Kony. In Sudan, Darfur to be exact, they are trafficking girls as young as 14 for sex to their soldiers, they are putting boys as young as 12 on the front line to kill and be killed. Yet the same people who criticized Clinton for his inaction state how it isn't our concern. Can someone explain to me this logic?

All you people do is hourque out babies. You get 4 years to "live your life" before the brainwashing begins. 65 years of work. Then you die of cancer at 66 on a pension (if you're lucky!) Why do you spit out babies like there's no tomorrow when this is all there is?

My 12 year old step-son was just diagnosed with this and now we have to take him to see a psycologist. What will they do to further test him? And do you know if the schools are required to give him extra help? He has a really hard time in school and the teachers are not really helping him right now as he has just been labeled a problem child. But with this new diagnosis are they required to give him the "special" help he needs? (He lives with his father and I and his bio mom is no help what so ever.) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and have a blessed day!
