The Big Ten may be the home of Ohio State and Michigan, but the conference as a whole is nothing but below average teams. Unlike the SEC of even Big East, only a couple teams actually have a chance at winning. The SEC continually produces quality teams. OSU has net played a decent team within their conference, while a team like Arkansas had to beat Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and Bama. Now which is more impressive, one bad Arkansas game, but beating many quality teams, or OSU beating 1 quality team (texas) and then winning against the ever challenging North Western, and Bowling Green.

If , and I mean IF my Buckeyes lose the season finale to Michigan, could they not only lose a shot at the NC, but also the Rose Bowl ? With Wisconsin having the same 1 loss big 10 record with both losing to Michigan, could they go to the Rose Bowl instead of the Bucks ? I know that their #1 ranking wouldn't come into play.
