That is a good question, and you've touched on the very heart of the matter. If you read Genesis Chapter 3 and consider what Satan was saying to Eve. Namely that God did not want them to eat the fruit, because they would become like God knowing good and bad, what he was saying was that man would be just fine, deciding for himself what is good and bad. He also stated the first lie ever told, incidently, which is "you positively will not die." That is the same lie that is being told by false religions to this day. Satan uses 3 main tools to rule this world, and he is the ruler of this world, 1 Johm 5:19 says, " we know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." Those tools are the political, commercial, and religious elements. Jesus stated when asked, that his kingdom was no part of this world, yet most religions today are thoroughly involved in the political system, he also stated, that you could recognize his followers, by this fact, they would show love amongst themselves. This would indicate that they would not go to war against they're brothers, simply because they live in a different country. That is exactly what happens, amongst the worlds major religions. You have so called christians, killing other christians, muslims killing muslims, etc. In any case God immediately had a solution, when the rebellion started, which was the ransom sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ, so that man could be redeemed, not by his own power, which is impossible, but through an undeserved kindness. That being said, the only thing that can bring the world to justice is God's kingdom, with Jesus as ruler. Daniel 2:44 sates. "In the days of those kings, the God in heaven will set up a kingdom that will not be brought to ruin, and it will crush and put an end to those kingdoms, and it itself will stand to time indefinate."

Nope. If every one decided to agree to be righteous (and I personally can't tolerate righteousness!) and tolerant, there would still be (at least) one Human who could see how to exploit that for their advantage...I believe it is against human nature to be any thing other than driven by self-interest...at best, enlightened self interest maybe...and exactly what is 'justice' anyway...what might seem just to one will seem unjust to others...
perhaps you transitioning from the "old" code of ethics (handed down and absolute) to a modern code of ethics (good or bad as measured relatively by the end results)
