This has always intrigued me. I live on the Canadian border, (States Side) were the drinking age is 19. Why is everyone in the U.S. so hung up on the minimum age of 21 to drink in the U.S?

I have always been told that when you spell a word that has the letters "I" and "E" together that the "I" will always come before the "E" except after the letter "C" (as in the word ceiling) or if it will make the long "A" sound (like neighbor and weigh) alright so if that's correct how come the word "Heiress" is spelled w/ the "I" after the "E" -it's not like "Heiress" is pronouced hay-ress.

I have to write essay about why shakespeare's literature is very difficult to understand for us today. I have given many reasons like old english, focus on old lives traditions. What else would convince people that shakespeare is difficult. I found also another point that shakespeare use lot of methamorphoses. One of the example is:
"Thou art a Moniment, without a tombe
And art alive still, while thy Booke doth live,
And we have wits to read, and praise to give.

Could u translate this for me? I can't understand. And is this addressed to man named ben?
Besides proving these arguments I mentioned above, what would be good to prove why sheakspeare's literature is very difficult?

Instead of giving my family gifts for christmas that they probably won't even like, I thought about giving gifts to families who don't even have enough money to buy necesities much less gifts for their family. Does anyone know of a legit. charity that does that sort of thing, not like toys for tots- I would like to give to a family, not just one child.

My friends parents are... abusive? They party all the time, his dad is an alchoholic, and his mom leaves the house, sometimes for days on end. His dad sometimes even goes with her, leaving him to do everything for the rest of the family, his younger brothers, cooking meals, everything. What can I do to help him?

He raised three times as much money as Jennings. Supposedly he won by 400 or less votes. One couple said their vote for Jennings was not counted. They contested and they won. But how many others were not counted? In one district, 17,000 elgible voters did not vote. That is strange. It was a district than normally votes democratic. The company that makes the voting machines is owned by an avowed Republican. Katherine Harris lost. Payback?
