I've heard a lot of negative things about Global Warming, but why can't we focus on the positives?
What do you think Global Warming will do that will make things seem better?

Temperate zones expand, creating more areas to grow crops.
Less snow at lower elevations (where it's just an inconvenience) but no less snow in the mountains (where we really need it for water supplies).
Warmer summers, milder winters.
The misguided Earth-First types will abandon their cars resulting in less traffic.
It's only temporary. The effect humans have in global warming is negligible. It is a natural cycle of the planet. It's happened many times in the past, a cycle of warming followed by an ice age followed by more warming etc. etc. etc.
The last cycle of warming was partly responsible for Europe coming out of the Dark-Ages and into the Renaissance due to increased food production and a gentler climate. Just think what we may be capable of now... how about we try and end world hunger? It's an honorable goal.

One good thing is that GW (we DO NOT know what the human impact is) will require changes in our infrastructure. And with such changes comes the need for new ideas, and thus the need, and compensation, for smart people and their innovations.
Another good thing may be more ocean to land water transport. An abundance of water is a better evil than a lack of water. Mankind has solved, with dams, the abundance problem. This also typically solves most drought problems.
Hows that for starters?

there isnt anything good about global warming!!! there is not always a silver lining to every situation!!! oh wait, there is a silver lining. the world will get so hot that we will all die and i wont have to listen to anymore stupid questions!!!!

one good aspect is that it heats certain cold climates that otherwise would be too cold to maintain productive crops
warmer temperatures also kill many bacterial diseases
