so im 18 and im going to be turning 19 in december and i never had a boyfriend and my sister who is 14 had about 5. i always had crushes on a bunch of guys in high school but they never seemed attractive to me i know im not the prettiest girl in the world but why do guys care so much about looks i just want someone to love me and i think this one boy in art class likes me but i can't tell how do you tell

going back and reading this i saw i worded some stuff wrong. what i meant about the attractive part i always found the guys attractive but they never seemed to find me attractive. and the thing is i would always have great conversations with these guys and even flirt but i was always the friend type how do you not become the friend type and become the girlfriend type
and who ever called me the b word was very rude and insulting espcially when you don't know me

Don't worry, babe. Everything will fall in place. Guys can be such thickheads sometimes that they'd only realise later that all the "pretty" ones aren't as kind, or good as the average-looking girl!
I'm not saying you're average looking, but I'm just generalizing things here (:
Just be yourself and be friendly to all. Always have a smile on your face and who knows, the boy in your art class or any of the decent ones might just say that he likes you!

Women want someone to love, they want a trustworthy partner and some one who will be honest. Alot of men, dont have the same mentality as women, they are naturaly more attracted to looks then women. It is sometimes hard to understand men, they see the things on t.v, internet, and books, on what a women shoul look like, and in the real world most of the average women dont compair. They fail to understand that they themselfs are not all rock stars. Not all men are like this those, you just need to find the good ones, they are out there. I am not the most attractive women in the world either, i have very low self esteem, however i have a fantastic partner, who loves me for me. the reason you feel like you are not attractive is because of the society we live in, who says your not pretty? it is better to be real then to be plastic. and it is hard finding a guy that is not rapped up in looks at your age, they are young and immature, you will find someone who loves you, and the way you look, as long as you keep loving yourself. if you wanna know if this boy likes you just ask, dont wait around or be petty, just ask him if he is interested. If this boy is looking at you alot and is shy near you he may like you. You could always ask if he likes you if you can get the courage. The best way to get courage to to clsoe your eyes for a couple of seconds, clear you mind and say I can do this. Walk up and say hi get to know him and ask if he wants to go out. If he says no don't be embarresed rejection isnt so bad I've been rejected a couple of times I got over it. Just pay attention to his signs like looking, shyness, blushing and not going near you. It sounds like he likes you

no worries, you dont want a guy that only cares about looks anyway, the right one will come around and as that guy in your art class guy for it girl! whats the worst that can happpen. it seems to me that you have had a all these crushes but you never told the guys that can resullt in miscommunication... jsut talk to the guy in the art class and maybe he really really likes you alot!
