It is true that you are always exerting a force on the ground, and in turn, it is exerting a force back up to keep you in place. However, you can exert different amounts of force down on the floor, due to variables such as weight, location, etc; does the floor change the force it is exerting back up? It cannot stay the same for everyone, because then the floor would be exerting the same force to a sumo wrestler and a toddler... that would make the toddler fly up, wouldn't it?

If a person were to walk over one of a power plants pipes which contain the extremely hiehg pressure steam in which generates electricity they would be cleanly cut in half.
This got me to wondering is there any convinient way to make a gun that could use absolutely nothing besides tanks that you fill up before the use of the gun, didn't wiegh much more than heavier modern guns used today, and was without question lethal?
Well I don't mean to answer my own question but duh you can. A simple pump up BB gun is most the time lethal.
But eliminate the projectile and leave only the air to reach a target and kill. Would it be possible, what might you need for such a thing, and finally how far could this thing shoot before mixing with the rest of the air becoming worthless?

I can quit. I have stopped before, but it is my BIG vice. My husband smokes and that does not help, plus I have bad anxiety problems. I know that nicotine is bad for anxiety, but when I get mad or worried I seem to smoke more. Plus I smoke a lot when I am on the computer. What can I do to finally quit. My Birthday is Friday and doing this for myself would be my best gift ever. So what should I do and how do I not give in to my crutch? Should I just smoke a few a day or go cold turkey again or pray reverently. AWWWWWW I am so confused. I was thinking that maybe posters all around the house would remind me of all the negatives about smoking. Hmmmmm.....

I was watching Apollo 13 for the 500th time last night and at first I thought they just used the harnesses with the invisible wires. I thought that when the astronauts appeared to be moving horizontally, that they were actually moving vertically, but for some of the scenes, that theory didn't seem to work. Anyone have any ideas?
