I have this guy friend who I really like. Problem is, nobody knows (I hope) I like him, and there's time when some of his other girl friends are totally flirting with him, and it makes me so jealous. Like the other day, this girl came up to him and was like, "Oh, I still have your jacket," and was like batting her eyes at him. I was so jealous!!! I wrote to my neighbour highlighting his cast iron gutter on the back of his semi detached house is missing a stop end.

This means every heavy downpour, water empties over my side of the semidetached house brick wall above the damp proof course.The leaking water has started to rot our french door's wood frame and has rotted a boundry fence that we own and have replaced to their benifit.

However, the neighbour in knowing all this is in no hurry to fix the leak causing damp to both his own and our house wall.

Ashame when winter is almost upon us now.

Does anyone know what can be done in this situation other than replace the missing stop end for him at my own expense which he would not like ? But this would remedy the leak .

I guess my sense of empathy has finally caught up with me. As a follow on from another topic on the vein of Satan...

Does anyone else feel sorry for the character of the Devil? I don't think what he did in the tales was the right way forward, but it seems like he's been subjected to so much hatred and been left alone to fester in his own darkness for so long that it would be tremendously injust of either God or Humanity to demand his destruction now.

Wouldn't the right thing to do be to extend a hand of forgiveness to him rather than a thrusted dagger of vindication? I know that I, for one, would not feel happy were he to be sentenced to extinction while I yet live.

If not, would Satan an exception to the "Love thine Enemies and pray for those who persecute you" rule? Could you justify that?

(And don't start with the "It's not real" stuff. It's a hypothetical ethical question whose query remains regardless of whether there is an actual devil or if it's just fiction.)

I just had my 10 year anniversary. I noticed that every time we go to dine out with my parents he wears his ring, but really that is the only time. So I took mine off and he finally noticed and was insulted and had an attitude. Needless to say things are not going great, but I think a ring and marriage itself should have meaning.
