to straighten my hair (I'm a guy) without like using a straightener ( I don't want to buy one cuz I don't think it would work with my hair) I have natural wavy/alittle curly hair. & I want to straighten it, is there a way to do it without straightener.

Everywhere you go: retail stores, fast food joints, flight attendants, service providers, etc. They all seem to have crappy attitudes as if YOU as the consumer are inconveniencing them. I notice this bad attitude primarily amongst minorities. It drives me crazy.

Ok, so my best friend is a girl (i'm a guy) we are 15 (mature) and have known each other for 2 years. Recently-for about the last two weeks- she has been asking for hugs alot, almost every day, and keeps saying she loves me. She had never done either of these before. But the thing is, she has a boyfriend (16), so I dont know what is up with the hugging etc. all of a sudden. I like her more than a friend and I have to tell her (I will wait till she breaks up with the guy), but I want to know, why might she be getting more touchy so much so quickly? If I am walking her home she puts her arm around me, and the other day I just made the flippant comment; hey, the cat's giving me a back rub, none of ye are that nice (to a group of friends) and she said "I'd give you a back rub". I find this behaviour odd since she has a bf (she isnt like this infront of him).

I have a website and I want to put voice recordings on it. I tried using the voice recorder that is on the Windows XP software but it isnt loud enough even after tweeking the volume. I have also tried using Audacity, but the program isnt compatibal with what im using it for.

I want to record my voice and mix it with a music track so that my voice gives a website intro and then music begins to play, as i said i have done this -- it just isnt loud enough.

i m a normal guy and a decent one. But why she calls me all the time even when we chat in comp and also every morn i m greeted by the same way. Although she does in a friendly manner but i m not particularly offended but i get a little low sometimes (when i am in already a problem). She considers me as an idiot , doesnt she??

Can I connect my PS2 scart lead or the red, yellow and white leads, to my pc monitor and if so where do I buy the adapter?

A few years ago I remember hearing that it was considered illegal for a previous employer to talk badly about you when someone calls for a work reference. That they are to only pretty much ask: "If givin the chance would you hire her/him again?" and then the reference is to answer with a yes or no. That they are not to "diminish" your name for a bad work experience. Is this true? What is allowed to be said, etc.? Does anyone know? THANKS

I have been taking a programming course for a few weeks now and need a little help with an assignment. My assignment is to write a program that displays a menu with the the option to find the largest # with a known quantity of numbers; find the smallest # with an unknown quantity of numbers or quit.

Here is what I have so far, but my book has gotten me so confused. I need some pointers as to what I am missing or what is wrong and needs fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need help, I received a letter today from a collection agency stating that I owe $1800.00 and they are willing to settle for $1100. Here are my problems first of all I am unsure who the money is going to, and secondly if it is to the place I am thinking of which is Capital One. I had received a maximum limit from them of $300 which of course I fell behind on my payments and now they say I owe $1800 can they really charge that much extra in fees?
