I reinstalled firefox just now. It did not ask whether I wanted to import any "favorites". I am doing something incorrect, I suppose. Thanks for your answers. (nice try). Don't you just love Bill Gates?

you are able to import bookmarks saved in HTML format from a document, using the Import characteristic of the Bookmarks supervisor: Firefox 2 and in the past: "Bookmarks -> handle (or handle) Bookmarks -> document -> Import -> From document" Firefox 3: "Bookmarks -> handle Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Import HTML... -> from an HTML document" Mozilla Suite/SeaMonkey a million.x: "Bookmarks -> handle Bookmarks -> procedures -> Import"
