Seriously, a lot of folks need to get up in the night - either because they prefer to keep their bodies well hydrated or have smaller than average bladders etc.
Some folks get up, some folks do not. It certainly isn't weird at all, especially if you try to make sure you drink your daily quota of liquids. What goes in.....

There's nothing abnormal about it. Is it because you drink to close to bedtime? I've read you shouldn't drink up to 2 hrs before bed. Also the older you get the more likely you are to need the bathroom in the middle of the night. Your husband is nuts.

Good grief, sounds to me your husband is some kind of control freak if you have get his opinion about when YOU need to go pee. Millions of full grown adults for millions of reasons get up in the night to urinate, and your husband - who is no doctor, for sure, and doesn't have a clue what he is talking about, needs to hush his mouth when it comes to expecting YOU to cross your legs and put a plug in both ears in case it tries to get out that way LOL
