it has good and bad points, its just a matter of weighing them out. Since more people are aware of the bad I don't think its such a bad thing. I love the site cause I keep in contact with people I know, and its not like I put my address or phone number out there.

MySpace.com is just another stepping stone in ways to communicate. First there was IM and then blogs, and now MySpace. I think it's a good way for people to stay in touch with their friends and families. I do suppose it can be good and bad.

well it's a bit of both but i'd say mostly bad. it's good in that kids and adults alike can keep in touch with friends and meet with new people in their area or with similar hobbies and likes and sislikes. it's bad in that ANYONE can have one- including sexual predators, child molesters, rapists, etc. sure the site has percautions users can take to keep their page private from outside people and accessable by only their actual friends, but how many users are actually doing that? many young children have myspace accounts without the consent or knowledge of their parents or guardians which means they are most likely not properly educated on internet safety and whatnot. the other bad thing is the whole addiction to the site. Our youth is wasting away brain cells on this stupid site. i can't tell you how many ppl i kno who spend hours on myspace instead of doing hw or studying or playing games or sports or even watching tv. it's so sad how it's taken over society. it's almost sickening. at my high school, kids use it to keep in touch with each other's social lives and stay on top of daily drama within various social clicks, which is all fine and dandy but when it becomes a daily ritual and addiction, it's gone too far. all my friends have a Myspace, but i chose not to b/c i've seen what it's done. it's too much drama and stuff....

ok here's my opinion a ppl can say watever they want to about me lol
i think myspace is awesome.....the only reason why it is bad is because ppls are stupid enough to give out their personal info such as address.. phone number...an etc.
as long as your not on their to harass ppl or make it where thay can do that to you then its ok...
you can al ways set it to private where no one can see it but the ppl you add as friends...

no it good cuz then if you havent seen a frind in a long time then they can get in contact with eachother but if your not protective then yea it could be
