I know this money goes to the Royal Canadian Legion, but what happens to it after that?

I have had this cat since she was born and have a very close connection with her (I had to bottle feed her and I carried her around in my shirt pocket when she was a kitten). Her father was a licker and now she is too. She will just sit and lick you until it hurts and wont stop. I almost cant even pet her anymore because as soon as I try to show her affection, she starts to lick me.

I have a 2000 Toyota Solara SLE, w/ daytime running lights. Recently in a front end accident, the shopped fixed the damage. But when I got it back, I pressed the alarm arm/disarm button.....and my lights didnt flash. Later on (after I was pulled over and recieved a ticket) the police officer pointed out my tailights (red) were out. I walked around the car, and the front signal lights were out too.

But the signal lights (front and rear) both work when signaling, just not while driving. Same goes for the brake light, that works, but isn't on while driving.

Any experts on here with electrical knowledge or similar problem?

I'm scheduled to take the car back to the shop, but that's a week away, and Im trying to resolve the problem before that, so I dont get another ticket. Thanks.

Hey all, I am a college student and I am looking at buying a house next year instead of renting. My parents and I are looking at houses but worried about being able to get a mortgage. Heres some info/comments/concerns.
I have 30k for a down payment.
2. My parents will cosign.
3. My parents own their home.
4. They have a home equity loan on the house, due to my dad being layed off a few years ago due to the .com bust.
5. Right now I do not have a "steady" job, I restore cars for customers, paint vintage arcade games for a museum, and also build cars to sell.
6. My monthly income varies from 500-5000 a month, it all depends on how much work I agree to do, and I would be able to do a lot more if I had a garage to do the work in.
7. For equity I have one vintage car that is worth 35k and a Muscle car that will go for 80-100k.
I would have about 5 roommates, and the going rent in the area is 500/month. Homes in the area are anywhere from 300-500k. What I would like to do is have a mortgage payment in the 2000-2500 range (or less) (which is equal to 5 roommates at 500/month) and then I would pay for the taxes/upkeep/insurance. I would keep it for 5 years.

I would really like to be able to buy a house in the area because the appreciation rate in the area is 18%, and I would really like to come out making money.

Whats my chances of being able to get a mortgage?

Two old biddies were talking about their lives with their husbands since moving to a nursing home. They both agreed that life was good, but Ethel was rather upset because her sex life had really died. Mildred said that her sex life was great.
"The secret to great sex is this," Mildred couseled Ethel. "When my Sammy is getting ready for bed, I get undressed, lie on the bed and put both legs behind my head. When he comes out and sees me like that, he gets so excited we have wild sex the rest of the night!"

While Ethel's husband Harold is getting ready in the bathroom that night, she takes off all her clothes. Although it's a struggle, she gets one leg up and behind her head. Pretty soon, she has the other leg behind her head as well. After accomplishing this great feat, Ethel falls backwards and can't move.
It's not too long before her Harold comes out of the bathroom. With a shocked look on his face, he yells, "For God's sake Ethel, comb your hair and put your teeth in, you look like an asshole!"

im 6 months pregnant and i eat normally i get very hungry 2 hours after meals i snack on things like crakers,fruits etc. i eat low fat meals no fried i dont eat ice cream i eat a muffin in the morning or pop tart. but it seems im gaining alot of weight says my doctor ive gained 17 lbs in 4 weeks .. i go walking but now she is telling me to speed walk about a mile or so a day. what should i do??? how would i keep myself from gaining so much?? is there any exercises i can do in the house also???
