I always pictured a relationship where I'd be someone's next door fellow. I'd visit him each morning with his coffee, talk with him until he goes to work, run into him in the mall in the afternoon after work, maybe help him cook at his place. I'd love the kitchen thing, as we can make a pretty big mess there. Sit down and watch something on TV while we eat. Then I'd go back to my place. It's the little things that count - nothing fancy.
When it's winter, we'd have a big snow fight and come in for a hot cup of cocoa. In the spring I'd like to show him the flowers. And I need a fishing partner. One that trips me up in the water.
But I do plan to stay single for a number of years.

I couldn't be because I'm already married! But, if you are really looking for someone, I can tell you that you should pay attention to the person you're interested in. Make them feel good about themselves by giving them a compliment about the way they look, or congratulating them when they have done a good job on something-basically boost their ego a little bit! Just don't try to be overly romantic and sappy- be sincere , be honest, make lots of eye contact, the more you think of yourself, the more they will too! If you don't have a very good opinion of yourself, how can you expect other people to?
