Happiness is not something you work hard to achieve some day in the future - it is not the end goal. Instead, it is what you achieve every day by living right as you complete your journey. The time to be happy is now, the place to be happy is here. You find happiness in living life the right way and doing the right thing each day. Find happiness in your method of living and you'll also find it is your destination.

It's not true. Happiness is neither the destination nor the method of life. In fact, I don't think the concept of a "destination of life" means anything, nor does the "method of life". Many scientists would say our sole reason for living is to survive and reproduce. Obviously, most people want to be happy en route, but that's a different question.

Actually, many people reject the idea that life should be spent pursuing or enjoying happiness. Think of people who give their lives to others (saints, Mother Theresa, a mother with hungry children in the thirld world), or people who are willing to die for their country or creed.

I think it's more of "happiness is a voyage not destination".

Happiness is not when you achieve something through hard work or sheer determination, it is not the goal that you have achieve but rather the experiences you went through in achieving that goal. ABout that method part, you can either live your life happily or the otherwise, live it miserably. Both ways are methods of life.

The statement also implies that in life, there is no better time to be happy than now. "CARPE DIEM".. sieze the day for it is your own voyage right now.

When one reaches his destination , he either halts or marks a new destination. I think that's why happiness could not be a destination. Our life is full of varied sentiments and emotions. You can't be happy always. There are moments of triumph, sadness, happiness and lots more. Just try to adopt the method of being happy as much as you can to enjoy all traits of life. Attitude is what matters.

Your dream is very positive. You're lying back watching the clouds just as you are watching the events in your life go by. Everything has clarity and definition, and there is variety as well. You're in a relaxed position indicating that you feel strong and confident about the way things are progressing. The sun feels good and colorful butterflies surround you. These are all the options and opportunities that you have right now, and they are plentiful. They can also signify the people in your life right now. Bright, energetic and beautiful, you are surrounded by positive energy from most every direction. This is a wonderful time for you where you are the one who's in charge of your life, and things are going extremely well. Seize some of those opportunities!

Happiness is not the destination though many of us think it is.Happiness achieved at the end of life is of no use because then we don't have time to live the happiness. The works we do to reach our destination must yield happiness.Happiness we get depends on the work we do which inturn depends on us.so an ideal statement :"Happiness is not what is found after reaching the goal;it is what you experience along the way."

wish u all the happiness!!keep smiling.

Happiness IS the destination for life. The ''method'' is to do what ever it takes to arrive at your destination,,,which is happiness.
happiness is to be smiling, inside and out.
All people have different point of views of what makes them happy. For some ''most'' people,,,happiness is money,,, sex,,, good looks,, and those sort of things.
Happiness is a state of mind...

If you quest after Happiness then you will never find it. As the Tao reads the Way will become like an illusive butterfly. Yet one can find contentment in the matter at hand. For example the Samurai were known for their vigil with death but in turn that encouraged them to live life to the fullest and enjoy the wonders of life around them, so while in the West a man musing flowers is seemingly out of place in japan such wonders are natural.

Again if you look at happiness as something to obtain then you will always be hunting and chasing something that is bound to change in your perception as you become more awakened to it's essential truth. Yet if you see bliss in your everyday existence in the simple truth of life then you will know happiness by way of being in harmony with it!

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have. Mistaking the concepts of peace and happiness. Happiness doesn't arrive as the result of a certain event. It comes when you decide to laugh more, take yourself less seriously, and focus on enjoying the journey instead of reaching your destination's.

It means that happiness cannot be reached in the future because the future is just your imagination. Happiness must be achieved in the present. It has no end, but is a process of constant transformation that appears spontaneously from the core of your being. It renews itself every day, because the present is instantaneous. Like other people say in here: "If you want to be happy, then be happy", on't wait for something to happen in the future... the present is your decision to either be happy or not.
